The conference is organised to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Kostrzyca Forest Gene Bank activity.
We hope that it will be an excellent opportunity to exchange experience and broaden knowledge
among a group of top-class specialists from the world of science, as well as employees of institutions
directly involved in the protection of forest genetic resources.

„Will we protect forest genetic resources?”
 

The organizers anticipate contributions in the form of oral presentations or posters. The expected presentation times are as follows: the opening lecture – 45 minutes, oral paper – 15 minutes. 

Field session (18.09.2025) ⇧

Visit to the Kostrzyca Forest Gene Bank, the "Śnieżka" Forest District container nursery, a field trip to the Bolczów Castle, tree stands and retention reservoirs  in the "Śnieżka" Forest District.

Registration fees ⇧

Accommodation (accommodated by the organizer's announcement) - cost PLN 300 / day
The cost of accommodation in a single room with breakfast at the Mercure Karpacz Skalny Hotel.

Participation in the lecture session - September 17, 2025 - cost PLN 900
The fee includes participation in lecture sessions, coffee service, lunch, conference materials. The fee does not cover accommodation and travel costs.

Celebration dinner - September 17, 2025 - cost PLN 200

Participation in the field session - September 18, 2025 - cost PLN 300
The fee includes transport, visit to the Kostrzyca LBG, second breakfast in the form of a bonfire, visit to the "Śnieżka" Forest District container nursery, the ruins of the Bolczów Castle, tree stands and retention reservoirs in the "Śnieżka" Forest District, lunch. The fee does not cover accommodation and travel costs.

Registration and conditions of participation ⇧

Please confirm your participation using the application form.

Conditions of participation:

1. After receiving the application, the organizer will send the participant a confirmation of participation in the conference to the indicated e-mail address and will issue a VAT invoice in electronic form.
2. Another employee of the institution/company may take part in the event instead of the registered person, provided that the details of the substitute person are sent by e-mail (to the following address: biuro@lbg.lasy.gov.pl).
3. Resignation from participation in the event may be sent to the organizer by e-mail (to the following address: biuro@lbg.lasy.gov.pl). In case of resignation from participation in the event up to 60 days before its start, the organizer will refund 100% of the fee to the participant. In the case of resignation from participation after the above-mentioned date, the participant is not entitled to a refund of the fee (however, you may change the person designated to participate in the event).
4. The organizer informs that the conference will be recorded (in the form of audio-video recordings and photographs) for promotional purposes. By joining the conference, the participant consents to the recording and use of his/her image.
